About

Welcome to the site.

I had planned to market myself as another ‘do this, be great’ or ‘12 ways to put your pants on faster’ merchant, peddling advice on how to improve your life any way I could imagine. And you know what too many months plugging away at that taught me? That I have surprisingly few nuggets of wisdom to impart.

But I find that a lot of the advice I read on productivity, personal finance, living right, pursuing your goals, beating procrastination and so on is fine in theory, but doesn’t always translate well to the real world. So my aim here is to close that gap between theory and practice anywhere I can. And if I do come up with a new method for putting pants on faster, you’ll be the first to know. There may even be video.

Credit for the whole ‘pants on faster’ notion goes to the inestimable Merlin Mann, purveyor of the kind of wordsmithery that tickles my neurons.

About the author:

I’m Richard Thomas, I live in London and I have a creative gremlin inside me bursting to get out. I have the kind of job that takes ten minutes to explain to any useful level of comprehension and really isn’t worth the investment of time.
